Bi-Irish also has extended services for Members. These include a message board, chat group, more stories, photo's and emails to you of the latest info, activities in your area and much more. Membership is FREE!
How
to become a Member
Membership is free
and is easy to join. All you need to do is email Bi-Irish about becoming a
member and we will send you info of how to do so. Easy!
If you haven't used one before it's really quite simple. A message board is like a kind of online notice-board. You can see what people have been posting, and able to see replies. This way you can view any part of a conversation and reply to any part of it. You can also post a new topic yourself. Message boards are a good way to chat about a topic over a length of time as , unlike chat rooms, the responses to the topic are not instantaneous. Replies and conversations, therefore, may happen over minutes, hours, or even days or weeks.
Bi-Irish has just
started it's own chat room and it already seems quite popular. A chat room
allows you to talk to people in real time- so that the conversation can flow
between individuals or even a group of people. Beware- it can be lots of fun!
Photos
On
the members site there are a few photos of past events. More are being added
all the time and if you like you can even add your own!
Email
You can choose
to receive emails of the posts on the Messege Board. This way you can add
your opinions and start your own topics without having to log into the site.
This is also useful to get the latest information about activities in your
area. Emails can be sent individually, or in a daily digest so as not to clog
up your inbox.
